It is situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn on the main route to the Cango Caves, and consists of a Victorian manor, 12 freestanding bedrooms and two executive suites and a Beauty Spa. The carefully renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity.

The rooms in this five star accommodation are fitted with every imaginable creature comfort, including remote-controlled air-conditioning and television, the latter featuring a bouquet of local and international channels. The en suite bathrooms boast marble top finishes and separate baths and showers. Other features include a telephone, mini bar and facilities for making coffee and tea.

The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof Country Hotel its name leads to individually furnished bedrooms and decorated in the Cape Victorian style.
