On the edge of the well known Waterberg area, only three hours by car from Johannesburg, sits Witwater Safari Lodge & Spa. Unspoiled and elusively furnished in true African style, this first class safari lodge and spa offers guests a tranquil getaway surrounded by warmth, style and uninterrupted relaxation time.

Set above a river, the lodge offers guests the choice of luxurious air-conditioned rooms in the Main Lodge or elegantly decorated tented rooms along the river banks, allowing guests the opportunity to simply relax and unwind in nature's backyard. The cuisine is a culinary delight and complimented by selected estate vintage wines.

The Wellness in the Wilderness Spa at Witwater Safari Lodge provides the ultimate body and sense-soothing safari whilst overlooking nature's playing field. It is the perfect spa experience for anyone in tune with the wilderness and for those who want to renew, revitalize and rejuvenate their body, mind and soul.

Each spa treatment is tailored to enrich and enlighten your senses, and treatments include skin therapy, body therapy, touch therapies, hand and foot therapy and a variety spa packages ranging from R570 (for 1 hour and 45 minutes) through to R1050 (for 3 hours and 15 minutes).

The Ultimate Spa Experience (R450). This scrumptious treatment will help purify and rejuvenate your whole body with an abundance of exotic scents, allowing your mind to drift away into complete serenity. This full body scrub with apricot kernel exfoliation is followed by a rich and luxurious moisturising milk bath containing baobab tree oil and finishes with an avo and shea butter body massage leaving your skin totally renewed.

The Personalised Dermalogica Facial (R350). This treatment is customised every step of the way to meet the requirements of your skin. Lie back and take in the gentle sounds of the wild whilst you are pampered to the max.

In addition, Wellness in the Wilderness offers two treatment rooms inside and one treatment area out in the natural bush surroundings and can accommodate two guests at a time and up 20 treatments per day.

This wilderness haven has 8 lodge rooms, 8 luxury tents, 3 river chalets and 4 rooms at Leopard Lodge and can accommodate up to 52 guests sharing and 26 single. The conference room can easily seat 52 guests at any one time.
