Being a KZN North Coast local, it's always a nice treat driving down to the South Coast for a short stay. Having a cozy destination that offers all the comforts one requires from a weekend retreat is important and Ingwe Manor offers this as well as a homely spa. Welcoming hospitality and friendly people are part and parcel of the South Coast and it's no different at Ingwe. Guest house and spa owner Jenny Rudling ensures all guests are welcomed and made to feel at home on arrival and for the duration of their stay.

The spa at Ingwe is taken care of by spa manager Tanya Kirsten Having recently opted to stock and use Wisdom of Africa products, spa services are truly South African. The signature treatment at the spa is the centering Inkaba Body Balance Massage. It reaches from top to toe and leaves you feeling balanced, refreshed, revitalized and centered. I was lucky enough to have it first thing in the morning and it set the mood of relaxation for the rest of the weekend.

A fundamental principle the spa operates by is keeping the spa experience intimate and personal. They see their strength to be their size which makes it a retreat for a couple, friends or moms and daughters. Exclusive service suited to the individual without being lavish. The spa is known in the area for standard beauty treatments. Holiday makers, South African and foreign, find their relaxation enhanced by spa treatments and visitors to the guest house often round off their South Coast experience with a visit to the spa.

The spa has two treatment rooms and plans an additional treatment or meditation room. It opens out on to the clear pool and can accommodate up to two guests at a time with two full-time therapists and one part-time.

Centrally located in the popular holiday town Margate Ingwe Manor is easy to locate and offers secure and ample parking .
