    Recipient of a Gift Certificate
  1. Effective 01 Nov 2009 - Gift certificate are valid for a period of 36 months (3 years) from the date of issue (expiry date is on the certificate).
     
  2. Certificates cannot be exchanged in whole or part for cash.
     
  3. Bookings can be postponed (within the validity period) but not cancelled.
     
  4. The list of participating spas is subject to change.
     
  5. Certificates are subject to the terms and conditions of the participating spas.
     
  6. Pre-booking is essential and subject to availability.

    Purchaser of a Printed Gift Certificate
  7. Admin Fee - There is an admin fee of 5% on all purchases. (Min R25)

  8. Dates falling on a weekend - If the date you have specified falls on a weekend we will endeavor to have it delivered on the Friday.
      Courier Delivery - If you have specified a delivery date we will despatch the certificate so that it is delivered on the selected date (not weekends). In this case we are at the mercy of the courier company used. If a specific delivery date is not given we will courier the voucheras soon as processed.
       
    By selecting a specific delivery date we will do our best to have the certificate delivered on that date but if the certificate does not arrive on the specified date the Health Spas Guide can not be held liable, and neither can the courier company concerned be held liable.
     


    9. Cancellation / Refund policy
  9. Printed Certificates Only: Prior to dispatch of certificates - 90% refund IF the cancellation is prior to the dispatch of the certificate.
     
  10. After dispatch - there will be NO refund if the gift certificate has already been dispatched.
     
  11. Bookings - it will be appreciated that the Guide is in the hands of the participating spas in this regard - each spa has its own cancellation policy. We have no alternative but to follow their policies.
